HELLO, I’m Martin “Mal” Brennan. For longer than I care to remember, I’ve been running
Mal’s School of Motoring (mals.ie), one of the busiest in all of County Meath.

I know all about the Fear Factor: if you’ve been away from driving for any length of time, or
perhaps have never sat
behind the wheel, a
Full Driving Licence
must seem very far away.
Getting there may even
seem daunting.

Fear not. The inside of
my car is a “Stress
Free Zone”!

If you stall, I’ll show you
have to start smoothly. If
you get a manoeuvre
wrong, I’ll correct it.
If you forget to signal,
I’ll gently remind you.

As you start to learn, almost certainly in and around the town of Navan, you’ll find it a mixed bag: it is urban and rural; busy and quiet... all depending on the time of day.

After a lesson or two, you’ll find yourself totally immune from worries about “not having a clue”, or being too slow: my car, as I mentioned, is a Stress-Free Zone!

If you’re west of the county, and know Mulhuddart or even Finglas, that’s no problem, I know those test routes too.
